After leaving the rural metropolis of Fife in Scotland, our man in question strode fourth to the bright lights of London, where the London College of Fashion beckoned. The next years of hard graft produced a Degree in Women's Wear Design & Textiles....and then the real work began....
A stint touring with several music groups as head of wardrobe, a bit of styling for boy bands, some personal shopping and all the while scribbling away in his sketch book...
These sketch pad doodles opened up a new area of play.......being published in Magazines and Books. This lead to a succesful exhibition held in Zagreb and his first solo exhibition "Wonder Women" was staged in London in 2006. His 'Dolly Mixtures' series have been exhibited in Los Angeles, London and more recently in Sydney, they are shortly to be followed by yet another round of Dolly doodles when the "The Better Decades" project is completed.
Published book illustrations include 'Maureen and Mrs.A Go To The Hospital', an illustrated childrens book for the NHS and more recently seen in '100 Days Of Active Resistance' by Vivienne Westwood.
He is currently curating the follow up to last years charity group exhibtion 'Caped Crusaids Returns' and is intent on gathering twice as many artists and raising twice as much money in aid of the chosen charities... "Caped Crusaid Legacy" returns this year on the 1st of December 2011.
